Quick steps
- Pour a little water into the cooker and bring it to a boil.
- Grease the four plates or lay an idli cloth on them and fill with batter.
- Set the stand inside, close the lid and steam for 10–12 minutes on medium.
- Rest 2 minutes, lift out the stand and scoop out the idlis.
