Annam's 28 Idli Pot with Steamer Plate is a large, heavy stainless steel idli pot, known in Tamil as Idli Pathiram (இட்லி பாத்திரம்) or Idli Panai (இட்லி பானை), for making plenty of soft idlis in one batch. It comes with four idli plates of 7 idlis each and a steamer plate, so it also works for steaming vegetables, kozhukattai and more.

How to use

Pour water into the pot, keeping it below the level of the lowest plate, and bring it to a boil. Grease the idli plates or line them with an idli cloth, fill with batter, stack the plates and close the lid. Steam on a medium flame for 10–12 minutes, rest for 2 minutes, then remove the idlis.

Care

Wash with mild soap and warm water. Avoid steel wool and harsh scrubbers, and dry fully after washing.
