How to use

Pour water into the pot, keeping it below the level of the lowest plate, and bring it to a boil. Grease the idli plates or line them with an idli cloth, fill with batter, stack the plates and close the lid. Steam on a medium flame for 10–12 minutes, rest for 2 minutes, then remove the idlis. Use the dhokla, mini idli and steamer plates the same way.

Care

Wash with mild soap and warm water. Avoid steel wool and harsh scrubbers, and dry fully after washing.

Each idli plate makes 7 idlis, so the three plates together make 21 idlis in one batch.

Is the whole pot triply?
