Annam's Appalam Strainer and Storage Container is a traditional Chettinad-style container made of Jindal stainless steel. It lets freshly fried appalam (அப்பளம்), vada, murukku and sweets drain off excess oil and stay crisp until serving.
Best for: appalam, papad, vadam, vada, bajji, murukku, sweets and other fried items, for everyday meals, festival cooking and serving guests.

How to use
Place freshly fried items in the central container and close the lid. The excess oil collects in the lower cup. After serving, lift out the cup, discard the oil and wash all three parts with mild soap and warm water. Dry fully before reassembling.
Care
Avoid steel wool and harsh scrubbers. Wipe dry after washing to keep the shine.
