Annam's 8 Idli Pot with Steamer Plate is a compact, heavy stainless steel idli pot, known in Tamil as Idli Pathiram (இட்லி பாத்திரம்) or Idli Panai (இட்லி பானை), that makes 8 soft idlis in one batch on two plates. It also comes with a steamer plate for vegetables, kozhukattai and other steamed dishes.

Best for: couples, bachelors, small families and quick breakfasts.

How to use

Pour water into the pot, keeping it below the level of the lowest plate, and bring it to a boil. Grease the idli plates or line them with an idli cloth, fill with batter, stack the plates and close the lid. Steam on a medium flame for 10–12 minutes, rest for 2 minutes, then remove the idlis.

Care

Wash with mild soap and warm water. Avoid steel wool and harsh scrubbers, and dry fully after washing.
