Mini Idli Plate – For Chettinad Idli Pots | Stainless Steel

Annam's Mini Idli Plate, also called a mini idly plate or button idli plate, is a stainless steel plate with small moulds for making bite-sized mini idlis in your idli pot. It is made of Salem 304-grade stainless steel and comes in two sizes to fit our idli pots.

Best for: mini idlis, chitti idlis and coin idlis for children's lunch boxes, sambar idli, ghee podi idli, parties and snacks.

Sizes

• Small: 19 cm (7.5 inch) diameter, 1.3 cm (0.5 inch) height, approx. 140 g. Fits our 4 Idli Pot.
• Large: 25 cm (10 inch) diameter, 2.5 cm (1 inch) height, approx. 330 g. Fits pots with a 7 idli plate: our 7 Idli Pot Set, Kadai Type 7 Idli Pot, 12 Idli Pot Set, 12 Idli Pot with Handle and 14 Idli Pot with Handle.

How to use

Fill the moulds with batter, place the plate in the idli pot with water, cover and steam.

Which size should I choose?
Choose the small size for our 4 Idli Pot. Choose the large size for pots with a 7 idli plate: the 7, 12 and 14 Idli Pots.

Does it fit the 10 Idli Pot?
No. Our 10 Idli Pots have 5 idli plates, so the Mini Idli Plate does not fit them.

Is it the same as a button idli plate?
Yes. Mini idlis are also called button idlis, chitti idlis or coin idlis.

How do I clean it?
Wash with mild soap and warm water, and dry fully. Avoid steel wool.
